Texas Oncology is a community oncology provider delivering evidence-based cancer care through more than 220 sites across Texas and southeastern Oklahoma.

What you will do

  • Plan, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of care according to professional and specialty standards.
  • Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials.
  • Prepare and administer oncology therapies under physician supervision.
  • Administer medications and blood products using correct dosage, route, timing, and technique.
  • Assess patients and laboratory results, facilitate dose modifications, and consult physicians on treatment and symptom management.
  • Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central lines, and document patient care and treatment accurately.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • RN experience of 0–3 years; entry-, mid-, and senior-level candidates may be considered.
  • Current RN license from the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
  • Current Basic Life Support certification.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with no weekends, call, or major holidays.
