TL;DR
Family Nurse Practitioner (Infusion): Providing patient care and administering infusion therapies in a specialty infusion center with an accent on physical assessment, IV therapy, medication safety, and clinical documentation. Focus on managing patient responses and infusion reactions, educating patients and families, and coordinating care with the IV team.
Location: On-site full-time in Coppell, Texas, United States. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM. The role may require travel to worksites and other locations as necessary; candidates must be within reasonable commuting distance unless an accommodation is granted.

What you will do
- Provide patient care within the scope of practice in a clinical infusion setting.
- Administer ordered infusion and injectable therapies according to prescriber orders, facility protocols, INS standards, and company policies.
- Complete admissions, perform physical assessments, evaluate responses to therapy, and document findings in medical records.
- Verify medication orders and report significant patient changes to the Center Director.
- Educate patients and family members about therapy plans while maintaining HIPAA-compliant confidentiality.
- Coordinate with the IV team, provide coverage for other nurse practitioners, and support new market launches.
Requirements
- MS in Nursing and at least two years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with IVs.
- Current, active, valid, and unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the applicable state.
- Current and valid Family Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Multi-state licensure if providing services in multiple states.
- Successful tuberculosis testing and Hepatitis B vaccination or a signed waiver.
Nice to have
- Credentialing experience with major payors, including Medicare and Medicaid.
- Extensive IV insertion and maintenance experience.
- Experience with ports, PICC lines, and peripheral lines.
- Experience managing infusion reactions, titration, medication mixing, and infusions.
