TL;DR
Integrated Product Team Leader (Aerospace): Leading cross-functional development and production projects from planning through delivery with an accent on cost, schedule, scope, risk, and performance management. What you will do

  • Own the full lifecycle execution of development and production projects, including scope, schedule, cost, and risk.
  • Lead integrated product teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, cost estimates, budgets, and recovery actions.
  • Make cost, schedule, and technical trade decisions and escalate issues with recommended solutions.
  • Drive operating cadence, visual management, risk mitigation, structured problem-solving, and continuous improvement.
  • Support proposal development and ensure effective transition from development to production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–10 years of experience in engineering, project execution, or operations within a complex manufacturing environment such as aerospace or defense.
  • Experience managing project cost, schedule, scope, budgets, cost baselines, and estimates.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams without direct authority and drive accountability for commitments.
  • Strong planning, organizational, analytical, communication, and risk-management skills.
  • Ability to work on site at a company facility in Simsbury, Connecticut.

Nice to have

  • Experience in both development and production project environments.
  • Familiarity with lean principles, visual management, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methods.
  • Experience supporting or leading proposals with cost and schedule development.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, estimate at completion, variance analysis, and structured execution systems such as EBOS.
