Integrated Product Team Leader (Aerospace & Defense)

Salary: $80,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Own full lifecycle execution of development and production projects, including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and prioritization.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, and finance without direct authority.
• Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, cost estimates, budgets, and recovery actions.
• Make cost, schedule, and technical trade decisions while escalating issues that exceed defined thresholds.
• Manage risks, structured problem-solving, continuous improvement, and corrective actions to protect project outcomes.
• Support proposals and ensure effective transition from development to production while meeting contractual and internal requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline.
• 5–10 years of experience in engineering, project execution, or operations within a complex manufacturing environment such as aerospace or defense.
• Experience managing project cost, schedule, scope, budgets, cost baselines, and estimates.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, drive accountability, and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience identifying risks, implementing mitigation strategies, interpreting performance data, and driving corrective actions.
• Strong communication, analytical, planning, and organizational skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in both development and production project environments.
• Familiarity with lean principles, visual management, Kaizen, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Experience supporting or leading proposals, including cost and schedule development.
• Knowledge of forecasting, estimate at completion, variance analysis, and structured execution systems such as EBOS.
