Nursing Simulation & Tutoring Expert

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, USA; full-time onsite position

Salary: $75,000–$85,000 per year

What you will do

• Facilitate simulation-based experiences and clinical learning labs, including equipment maintenance, supply ordering, setup, and cleanup.
• Provide individual and small-group tutoring, academic reinforcement, and personalized remediation plans for nursing students.
• Support students preparing for the NCLEX-RN exam and assist with Next Generation NCLEX activities and workshops.
• Develop and implement clinically based scenarios using high-fidelity patient simulators.
• Coordinate and supervise lab experiences, staff open labs, and oversee practice of technical nursing skills.
• Document student academic and co-curricular progress and participate in outreach to students with at-risk referrals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required; master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current, unencumbered RN license required.
• BLS CPR certification required, including BLS CPR instructor certification.
• At least one year of experience in an academic environment supporting classroom instruction or specialized tutoring preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, attention-to-detail, and proofreading skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; ACLS and/or PALS certification is preferred.
