Electrical Maintenance Planner

Location: Reading, Pennsylvania, United States; onsite, full-time

What you will do

• Plan non-emergency maintenance activities for the assigned area maintenance team.
• Define the required operations, materials, spare parts, external labor, drawings, manuals, and lockout procedures before work is scheduled.
• Coordinate maintenance execution with engineering, production, procurement, warehouse personnel, vendors, contractors, and maintenance coordinators.
• Apply established work management processes to support safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance.
• Identify and implement solutions focused on minimizing equipment downtime.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience as qualified electrical craft personnel in a heavy industrial environment, preferably steel, metals, or manufacturing.
• Strong technical and operational knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment and systems.
• Strong leadership, communication, presentation, problem-solving, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, and other safety standards.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of TPM and LEAN.
• Experience with SAP.
• Ability to read electrical circuitry diagrams and drawings.
