Infusion RN II-Mansfield, Tx (Oncology)

Location: Mansfield, Texas; the position supports the Infusion Department at the Wesover Hills, San Antonio, Texas location. Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; no weekends, call, or major holidays.

What you will do

• Plan, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and promote continuity of patient care.
• Assess patient and family needs and provide education and instructional materials.
• Prepare and administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products under physician supervision.
• Assess patients and laboratory results, calculate doses, and support treatment modifications and symptom management in consultation with physicians.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central-line catheter devices.
• Document patient care and treatments accurately while supporting authorization, consent, reimbursement, and charge-capture processes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program; BSN preferred.
• 0–3 years of RN experience; entry-, mid-, and senior-level candidates will be considered.
• Current RN license with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Ability to work onsite in Texas during the specified Monday–Friday schedule.
