Materials Engineer Rotational Program - December 2026 Grads (Steel)

Location: Onsite rotations in Cleveland or Fostoria, Ohio, for Ohio-based candidates, or Saukville, Wisconsin, for Wisconsin-based candidates. Relocation support is available. Start date: January 2027.

What you will do

• Rotate between departments and learn how plant operations incorporate metallurgical theories and practices.
• Analyze process changes and their effects on product performance.
• Collect, analyze, and communicate product quality data.
• Perform root cause analysis of process defects and their effects on finished products.
• Support customer complaint resolution through failure analysis and metallographic interpretation.
• Contribute to process improvements and participate in Six Sigma, Orange Belt, and problem-solving teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials Engineering or a related field.
• Related internship or work experience.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, planning, and communication skills.
• Initiative focused on excellence, results, and process improvement.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with people at all levels.
• Willingness to travel as needed and graduate in December 2026.
