Process Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Farmers Branch, Texas, United States; onsite, full-time day shift

What you will do

• Characterize, optimize, control, and sustain photolithography and etch manufacturing processes.
• Monitor process performance, analyze trends and variation, and maintain SPC, Cp/Cpk, dashboards, KPIs, and manufacturing reports.
• Design, execute, and analyze DOE activities; investigate process excursions, defects, and yield losses through root cause analysis.
• Implement CAPA, process validation, qualification, change control, risk assessments, PFMEA, control plans, and error-proofing solutions.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, cycle-time, throughput, capacity, equipment-utilization, cost-reduction, and productivity initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, Quality, Facilities, Supply Chain, R&D, vendors, suppliers, and contractors on projects, transfers, equipment installations, and technical recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience, or an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with semiconductor wafer fabrication, photolithography, etch, thin film, plating, metrology, MEMS, advanced packaging, assembly, test, or other precision manufacturing processes.
• Experience sustaining and improving manufacturing processes for safety, quality, yield, throughput, and cost objectives.
• Experience with process or technology transfers, NPI, manufacturing scale-up, CAPA, continuous improvement, and documented quality systems.
• Knowledge of SPC, Cp/Cpk, DOE, PFMEA, control plans, MSA/GR&R, root cause analysis, MES, data visualization, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work onsite in Farmers Branch, Texas, during the regular day shift.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, ISO 13485, or similar quality management systems.
• Six Sigma Green Belt certification or equivalent continuous improvement training.
