What you will do

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment (including programmable controls, power supplies, drives, gauges, and test equipment).
• Plan and perform work using electrical/electronic and mechanical theories, including writing specifications and applying local and national electrical codes.
• Install, start up, and shut down equipment according to company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.
• Advise operators and line mechanics on safe operation procedures and communicate potential electrical/mechanical problems and hazards to management.
• Maintain required performance and maintenance records and perform preventive maintenance functions.
• Assist maintenance personnel with technical troubleshooting and may train team members; travel up to 10% for training as needed.

Requirements

• 3+ years of proven experience across electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic fields.
• Computer experience/operation and PLC programming capability.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Thorough knowledge of electrical/electronic components and diagnostic instruments.
• Ability to work professionally with all personnel and clearly interface and communicate with line operators for repairs and troubleshooting.
• Willingness to work overtime as required and establish employment eligibility; background checks and required pre-employment testing are required.

• Experience with cutting, welding, and fabrication.
