Maintenance Supervisor (Manufacturing)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States. Full-time onsite night shift: Monday–Friday, 5:30 p.m.–3:30 a.m., plus Saturday, 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m.

What you will do

• Supervise crew members and collaborate with leadership to establish standards of conduct.
• Retrieve, assign, and confirm maintenance work requests through the Hippo system.
• Coordinate with diagnosticians to assign work plans for machine downtime events.
• Track and document equipment downtime while supporting spare-parts warehouse organization.
• Identify critical skill gaps and establish methods for employees to develop the required skills.
• Promote safe, clean, and timely work practices, including incident reporting and hazard prevention.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical school education or a formal apprenticeship.
• At least 5 years of experience in maintenance-related fields.
• Ability to manage people, communicate effectively with crew members, work independently, and follow the assigned schedule.
• Working knowledge of basic computer skills and software, including MS Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems, as well as construction equipment, materials, and supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for up to 95% of the shift, follow written and oral instructions, and work occasionally in temperatures below 32°F or above 90°F.
