Director, Core Banking & Automation (Fiserv DNA)

Target hiring range: $111,801.86–$139,752.33 annually, depending on experience and before eligible incentives.

What you will do

• Lead the Core Banking, DBA, Core Automation, and RPA teams, including hiring, coaching, performance management, resource planning, and succession planning.
• Own the Fiserv DNA and broader Fiserv application suite, overseeing configuration, integrations, releases, upgrades, issue resolution, support, and roadmap planning.
• Direct database administration for Oracle and SQL environments, including performance, availability, backup and recovery, disaster recovery, capacity planning, and security controls.
• Establish automation governance covering intake, prioritization, controls, documentation, monitoring, KPIs, ROI measurement, support models, and retirement processes.
• Manage core banking technology vendors, service levels, escalations, release coordination, contracts, and roadmap alignment.
• Report operational performance, project delivery, service quality, system health, efficiency gains, and risk mitigation to executive leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and a high school diploma.
• 8–10 years of progressive experience in banking technology, core banking platforms, enterprise application support, automation, or related technology leadership.
• 5–8 years of experience leading technical teams, including System Analysts, DBAs, Automation Engineers, and RPA resources.
• Hands-on leadership experience managing Fiserv DNA and related Fiserv core banking applications is required.
• Expert knowledge of core processing, integrations, batch operations, release management, vendor escalation, banking operations, change management, Oracle, and SQL database administration.
• Experience with enterprise application support, automation governance, infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, and regulated financial institutions.

Nice to have

• Experience leading core banking implementations, upgrades, conversions, integrations, or modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of Atomic and other automation products.
• Experience with Lumin, Zelle, OnBase, and related banking technologies.
