Portugal - Field Service Engineers

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; on-site work with travel within Portugal and abroad. On-call duties and night or weekend work may be required. Applicants must be eligible for airport badges.

Compensation: up to EUR 50,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, repair, and troubleshoot industrial equipment at client sites in Portugal.
• Perform preventive maintenance and use advanced diagnostic tools to resolve complex technical issues.
• Provide technical support and train clients in equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering colleagues to resolve recurring technical issues.
• Record service visits, repairs, and parts usage in computerized maintenance management systems.
• Manage spare parts inventory and coordinate component delivery with logistics.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering.
• Preferred 3–5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer.
• Expertise in industrial equipment diagnostics and repair, with the ability to read technical manuals and diagrams.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems, plus proficiency with CMMS.
• Strong independent problem-solving, communication, and customer-support skills.
• Fluency in English and Portuguese is required, and airport badge eligibility is mandatory.

Nice to have

• Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Network+.
• Experience working in challenging field environments.
