Maintenance Technician (Hospitality)

Location: Florence Belfiore, Italy; onsite hotel maintenance role

What you will do

• Handle day-to-day hotel maintenance issues, including plumbing, lighting, locks, and small repairs.
• Complete daily indoor and outdoor walkarounds to keep facilities clean, safe, and well maintained.
• Carry out preventative maintenance checks and resolve issues before they escalate.
• Perform minor painting and cosmetic repairs.
• Support and coordinate external contractors when specialist work is required.
• Monitor stock levels for tools, materials, and spare parts, while supporting the Maintenance Manager with ad hoc tasks.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally in hospitality.
• Strong hands-on technical and repair skills.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and solve problems independently.
• Flexibility with tasks, schedules, and changing priorities.
• Fluent Italian is required.
• Positive, professional, and guest-friendly attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a close-knit team.
