Customer Service Automation Engineer (PLC)

Location: Maia, Portugal; remote work options are available. Availability for national and international relocation is required.

What you will do

• Deliver automation solutions for system upgrades in line with technical specifications and regulatory standards.
• Receive, identify, and analyze technical problems reported by customers.
• Prepare solution architectures based on equipment specifications, product needs, customer requirements, and applicable standards.
• Develop and program control algorithms using PLC technologies.
• Promote new technologies and continuous improvement of operational processes and service quality.
• Apply solutions to customer issues and prepare final technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Automation Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience in similar roles, including programming experience.
• Professional experience with PLC programming.
• Knowledge of SIMATIC Step7, SIMATIC TIA Portal, and WinCC.
• Excellent written and spoken English is required.
• Availability for national and international relocation is required.
