Installation & Commissioning Specialist - GIS (Electrical Engineering)

Location: Portugal, Lisboa/Amadora; the role involves on-site work and 80–90% travel abroad.

What you will do

• Conduct on-site mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting of GIS equipment.
• Perform commissioning and pre-commissioning inspections for Gas Insulated Switchgear systems.
• Document inspection results, prepare reports, and resolve identified discrepancies.
• Conduct risk assessments and maintain health, safety, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to support timely project execution.
• Provide technical support and training to local teams and customers.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to engineering challenges.
• Availability to travel abroad 80–90% of the time.
• Fluent English and strong communication skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and develop professionally.
