Director of Program Management (Satellite Connectivity)

Location: Mountain View, California, United States; hybrid with onsite work 3 days per week

Salary: $215,000–$230,000 per year

What you will do

• Build and lead Technical Program Management and Program Operations teams organized into two operating pods.
• Own execution across Software Engineering, Network Engineering, Product, Product Support, and Customer Success.
• Coordinate inter-team dependencies, surface risks, remove blockers, and make trade-offs across delivery speed, performance, and technical debt.
• Establish delivery processes, tooling, standards, quarterly planning, reviews, retrospectives, and feedback loops.
• Connect customer operations and field issues with engineering fixes to improve the platform with each release.
• Provide leadership and external partners with clear visibility into status, risks, and trade-offs.

Requirements

• Experience building and scaling technical program management teams in complex software, networking, or telecom environments.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through influence, clarity, and technical credibility without direct authority.
• Technical fluency in cloud-native architectures, network engineering, and global carrier operations.
• Experience partnering directly with enterprise customer TPM leadership on joint programs.
• Strong follow-through and the ability to communicate technical status honestly to executives and external partners.
• Comfort building structure in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and reshaping it as the company scales.
