TL;DR
Manufacturing Associate (2nd Shift) (Assembly and Production): Building and processing composite daylighting systems through assembly, fabrication, machine operation, packaging, and material handling with an accent on safety, quality control, and production accuracy. Focus on operating manufacturing equipment, interpreting blueprints and work instructions, performing inspections, and supporting continuous improvement across multiple workstations.

Location: Manchester, New Hampshire, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

  • Perform assembly, production, fabrication, packaging, and material handling activities.
  • Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established procedures and safety requirements.
  • Use hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and other production equipment.
  • Read blueprints, work orders, specifications, and production instructions.
  • Inspect materials, components, and finished products, and report quality or equipment issues.
  • Work across departments and support continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and productivity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions.
  • Experience using hand tools and power tools, with ability to perform basic measurements using gauges, rulers, calipers, or similar devices.
  • Strong attention to detail, reliability, attendance, and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, reach, perform repetitive motions, and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Ability to work safely around moving machinery and work overtime as needed.

Nice to have

  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience.
  • Forklift certification or prior forklift operating experience.
  • Experience with production equipment, machinery, or automated systems.
  • Knowledge of quality inspection processes and manufacturing best practices.
