What you will do

• Fabricate and assemble aluminum structural components according to engineering specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings.
• Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials using electric, pneumatic, and powered tools, including band saws, radial saws, and upcut saws.
• Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment to move materials and finished products safely.
• Perform quality checks and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborate with colleagues to meet production schedules and quality expectations while following safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Ability to read a tape measure accurately and perform basic calculations.
• Strong math and computer skills, mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday and safely move materials.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous fabrication, assembly, manufacturing, or construction experience is helpful but not required; training is available.
