Project Controls Manager (Construction)

What you will do

• Develop and maintain project control systems covering budgets, expenditures, forecasts, cost overruns, and key performance indicators.
• Monitor project progress against baseline budgets, identify variances, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare project status reports, forecasts, risk assessments, and cost curve analyses for labor, materials, and equipment.
• Manage change control, including evaluating the schedule and budget impact of proposed changes.
• Oversee project setup, direct cost updates, budget forecasting, change orders, and document management in Procore.
• Manage the Sage Intacct–Procore integration, trade budgets, rolling three-year forecasts, monthly draws, subcontractor invoicing, and lien waiver tracking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, finance, or a related field.
• At least four years of project controls or project management experience in the construction industry.
• Proficiency with Procore, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Office, project management, and business software.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, risk management, industry regulations, and project control practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience supporting senior stakeholders and collaborating across project teams.

Nice to have

• PMP, PMI-SP, or a similar professional certification.
• At least three years of construction field experience.
