Location: New Bedford, Massachusetts, United States of America; full-time onsite role with domestic and international travel, including periodic travel to Thailand.

Salary: $150,447–$195,613 per year.

What you will do

  • Lead environmental, health, safety, and regulatory compliance across U.S. Golf Ball Operations and Thailand Ball Plant IV.
  • Develop and implement enterprise-wide compliance programs that support operational excellence and minimize business risk.
  • Oversee environmental permitting, hazardous materials management, site remediation, transportation compliance, and chemical control programs.
  • Partner with senior leadership, Legal, Operations, Engineering, R&D, external agencies, and regulatory authorities.
  • Chair the Golf Ball Operations Compliance Steering Committee and drive alignment across facilities and regions.
  • Support business growth initiatives and continuous improvement through regulatory strategy and subject-matter expertise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemistry, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience leading environmental, regulatory affairs, health and safety, or compliance programs in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience with environmental permitting, compliance, reporting, remediation, environmental liabilities, contaminated-site investigations, and risk management.
  • Deep knowledge of hazardous waste, air emissions, wastewater, stormwater, spill prevention, chemical controls, and hazardous materials transportation.
  • Understanding of RCRA, CERCLA, TSCA, DOT, IATA, IMDG, import/export, and domestic and international environmental regulations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading teams and cross-functional compliance initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and communicating with senior leadership and regulatory agencies.
