Manager, Industry Events

Location: New York, New York; hybrid work arrangement. Domestic travel and occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on event schedules.

Salary: $100,000–$130,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Plan and execute Horizon-owned events, industry conferences, executive experiences, and client-facing activations from concept through onsite delivery.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, production schedules, registration processes, travel logistics, speaker coordination, and run-of-show documents.
• Manage venues, production partners, agencies, vendors, contracts, sponsorship benefits, partner communications, and co-marketing deliverables.
• Build scalable project management processes, operational playbooks, tools, templates, and standardized workflows.
• Manage purchase orders, invoices, event budgets, and financial reconciliation in partnership with Finance.
• Coordinate Corporate Marketing, Communications, Creative, Executive Leadership, Business Solutions, Investment Partnerships, Finance, Legal, and Procurement stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–7+ years of experience in event marketing, experiential marketing, integrated marketing, partnership marketing, or project management within an agency, media, marketing, or technology environment.
• Demonstrated success leading complex, high-visibility events involving executive stakeholders and external partners.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.
• Experience managing budgets, vendors, contracts, and production timelines.
• Strong communication, collaboration, relationship-building, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com and Microsoft Office Suite; AI literacy and interest in applying emerging tools are required.
