Virtual Banker - Onsite

Location: Onsite at the Corporate Office, 2355 W Pinnacle Peak Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85027, United States

Target hiring range: $21.12–$26.40 per hour, depending on experience and before eligible incentives.

What you will do

• Process consumer loan and deposit account applications submitted through web, phone, chat, and branch channels.
• Gather information and documentation, use electronic signatures, and manage applications through funding.
• Review credit reports, debt-to-income ratios, loan-to-value ratios, and other underwriting information.
• Respond to member inquiries, conduct onboarding conversations, make outbound lead calls, and cross-sell products and services.
• Build and expand member relationships through relationship banking and tailored credit union solutions.
• Track the consumer loan and deposit application pipeline, pull-through ratios, performance, and obstacles.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three to five years of similar or related experience, preferably in customer service within a financial institution or call center.
• Strong professional written and verbal communication skills, multitasking ability, and telephone etiquette.
• Ability to communicate accurately and professionally about sensitive inquiries, requests, and complaints.
• Ability to comply with applicable policies, laws, and regulations, including BSA, AML, the USA PATRIOT Act, and OFAC requirements.
• Successful candidates must authorize credit and criminal background checks; applicable mortgage loan originators may need NMLS registration.
