Universal Banker Float (Banking)

Location: Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA; assigned branches in or around the Twin Cities with local travel required in the Minneapolis–St. Paul metro area

Salary: $22.25–$23.50 per hour, plus incentives and a 3% annual target bonus

What you will do

• Assist members with account opening, service requests, credit applications, and account maintenance.
• Educate members about financial products and services, cross-sell appropriate offerings, and make qualified referrals.
• Build long-term member relationships through consultative conversations, follow-ups, and personalized service.
• Research and resolve moderately complex member issues while coordinating with other departments.
• Support specialized needs including fraud and forgery, deceased accounts, retirement services, business accounts, and other unique account types.
• Follow risk and compliance procedures, protect member assets and privacy, and participate in branch and community events.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; some college experience preferred.
• Sales skills and member service or retail banking experience preferred; cash handling experience is also preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment while maintaining service quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, general office equipment, and self-service technology.
• Must obtain or possess a Mortgage Loan Originator unique qualifier and complete all applicable NMLS and S.A.F.E. Act requirements, including background and credit checks and fingerprinting.
• Must be bondable.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of banking or credit union regulations.
• Experience recommending products and plans that improve members’ financial position.
