Director, HR Technology (Workday)

Location: Austin, Texas or Santa Clara, California, United States. Relocation eligible; travel required up to 25% of the time.

Salary: $172,000–$236,500 per year, plus potential bonus and stock awards.

What you will do

• Lead the design and implementation of a scalable global HR technology ecosystem supporting operational excellence and employee experience.
• Shape the HR technology roadmap with Employee Experience leaders, HR Centers of Excellence, HR Business Partners, IT, and other stakeholders.
• Lead and develop a team of HRIS analysts and HR technology professionals.
• Drive HR process automation, scalability, continuous improvement, and service delivery enhancements.
• Manage intake, prioritization, design, delivery, and execution of HR technology and continuous improvement projects.
• Apply emerging technologies, including AI tools, to improve technical process execution.

Requirements

• 10–12+ years of progressive HR technology experience, including leadership experience.
• Deep expertise in global HR systems, HR processes, data governance, and Workday.
• Experience managing end-to-end HR technology projects, including requirements gathering, design validation, UAT, and deployment.
• Ability to maintain data integrity, security, and compliance across HR platforms.
• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing HR technology professionals.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder-management, and complex decision-making skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading Workday implementations or transformations.
• Experience with ServiceNow, Eightfold, and other HR technology platforms.
