Director, People Operations & Workforce Technology (AI)

Location: Seattle, Washington, United States; hybrid schedule with onsite work Tuesday through Thursday each week

Salary: $208,000–$260,000 starting base salary annually, plus equity and additional compensation components.

What you will do

• Lead the evolution of global People Operations, including employee lifecycle processes, Tier 0/1 support, and shared services.
• Own the People technology ecosystem, including Workday, supporting platforms, workforce data quality, governance, reporting, and executive insights.
• Develop and execute an AI and automation roadmap for People Operations, moving use cases from experimentation to scaled adoption.
• Redesign end-to-end workflows and operating models across People Operations, Talent Acquisition, People Partners, Total Rewards, Learning & Development, and People Analytics.
• Lead complex cross-functional programs, establishing roadmaps, governance, milestones, operating rhythms, and measurable outcomes.
• Partner with IT, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and People leaders to deliver secure, compliant, and integrated solutions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience leading People Operations, HR Technology, Workforce Strategy, Business Operations, or a related function in a high-growth technology company.
• Experience leading complex M&A, restructures, People technology implementations, scalable operating models, workflows, and business processes.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives that improved operational performance.
• Experience leading Workday or enterprise People technology platforms and improving workforce data quality and governance.
• Strong executive dashboard, workforce analytics, business acumen, and complex program management experience.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity, build repeatable playbooks, challenge legacy processes, and connect People investments to business outcomes.
