Director, HR Technology & Digital AI Transformation

Location: Remote, Illinois, United States; occasional domestic and international travel required. Support stakeholders across North America, Europe, and Asia.

Salary: $158,500–$211,500 per year, plus annual bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead the HR Technology Center of Excellence and advise senior HR and enterprise leaders on HR operations, HRIS strategy, risk, controls, and capability roadmaps.
• Define governance models and standards that improve global HR data integrity, compliance, audit readiness, and operational excellence.
• Resolve enterprise-impacting issues across Workday, payroll platforms, and downstream systems using systems thinking and risk-based judgment.
• Drive operating models and system enhancements using Workday, analytics, Agentic AI, and emerging HR technologies.
• Use data and trends to identify root causes, improve decision-making, and enhance employee experience.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external vendors to test, implement, and scale capabilities globally.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in HR Technology, HRIS, HR Operations, Payroll, IT, or related enterprise environments.
• 5+ years of people leadership experience, preferably in matrixed and global environments.
• Experience leading enterprise technology operations strategy, governance, and large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders across HR, IT, Finance, and business functions to influence strategy and organizational outcomes.
• Must not require hirify.global immigration sponsorship now or in the future, including H1B, TN, or STEM OPT sponsorship.
