Casualty Claims Representative

Location: Columbia, Missouri, United States. Hybrid work may be available after initial in-person training, with attendance at a company-approved work location and travel for onsite investigations or meetings.

What you will do

• Investigate assigned casualty claims by collecting statements, physical evidence, and legal documentation.
• Analyze policy coverage and determine liability and damages.
• Negotiate claim settlements within company procedures and authority limits.
• Communicate claim status to insureds, agents, and other stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim records and comply with regulatory and internal standards.
• Attend training and education programs and travel for onsite investigations or meetings as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
• At least 3 years of casualty claims experience.
• Basic understanding of casualty policy language.
• Strong verbal and written communication, information-gathering, and interpretation skills.
• Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently and work with diverse customers and situations.
• Ability to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship.
