Plumbing Journeyman

Location: Arden, NC, United States; full-time onsite work

What you will do

• Lay out and install commercial plumbing systems in varied job settings.
• Measure, cut, thread, bend, and braze copper pipe to required specifications.
• Install pipe hangers, plumbing fixtures, and related equipment.
• Test completed installations to verify proper operation and quality.
• Work safely using power and hand tools, including from ladders, lifts, and roofs.
• Guide and teach apprentices on the job site.

Requirements

• At least four years of commercial plumbing experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in extreme heat, cold, and bad weather.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the workday and lift or carry up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and perform reaching, crawling, squatting, kneeling, bending, and overhead tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to maintain a drug-free workplace.

Nice to have

• Military veteran experience is encouraged.
