Senior EHS Manager

Location: Willard, Ohio, United States; plant-based, full-time position

Salary: $148,600–$204,300 per year

What you will do

• Manage plant environmental, health, and safety programs covering OSHA, EPA, and state and local regulatory requirements.
• Maintain OSHA 300 logs, injury and illness metrics, safety reports, corrective action plans, and site action plans.
• Conduct hazard assessments, develop Job Safety Analyses, evaluate engineering controls and PPE, and address non-compliance.
• Deliver mandatory OSHA, first aid responder, operational hazard, and new-hire safety training.
• Coordinate workers' compensation investigations, emergency response planning, fire safety, hearing conservation, chemical controls, and safety equipment programs.
• Lead safety committees, partner with engineering and other plant functions, and manage the local EHS staff and safety budget.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 5+ years of Environmental Health and Safety experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local EHS regulations.
• Ability to work independently, manage a plant safety budget, and supervise staff.
• Experience with OSHA records, regulatory compliance, hazard assessments, safety training, and corrective action planning.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Business, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in food safety manufacturing.
• ASP or CSP certification.
