Senior Client Manager (Commercial P&C Insurance)

Location: Hybrid schedule required three days per week in an office in Dallas, Austin, or Houston, Texas

What you will do

• Manage client service delivery for a complex book of commercial property and casualty accounts, primarily serving charter schools.
• Act as the primary client resource for risk management, coverage, contractual, compliance, and insurance market questions.
• Analyze client, claims, and market data; develop renewal options and recommend coverage, exclusions, pricing, premiums, and commissions.
• Prepare carrier renewal specifications, presentations, proposals, and new business development materials.
• Negotiate with carriers and maintain relationships with underwriters, brokers, and other professional service providers.
• Mentor and coordinate a client service team while supporting process improvement, retention, and account growth.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in a mid-size brokerage or independent insurance agency.
• Valid state Property and Casualty license and state driver’s license.
• In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to interpret coverage forms, contracts, and financial statements.
• Leadership experience in delegation, coaching, mentoring, project management, or team management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to manage multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced environment.
• High school diploma or GED required; a college degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Sagitta and ImageRight.
• Insurance designations such as CIC, CRM, or CPCU.
• Experience with complex shared or layered insurance programs.
