Claims Advocate (P&C)

Location: Los Angeles or Newport Beach, California, with an in-office requirement twice per week

Salary: $95,000–$105,000 annual base pay, excluding bonuses and benefits.

What you will do

• Support clients with reporting Property & Casualty claims and interpreting policies to identify applicable coverage.
• Coordinate between clients, insurers, adjusters, attorneys, claimants, and internal stakeholders to move claims forward.
• Assist with coverage issues, settlement negotiations, summons and complaint review, and claim resolution.
• Create and maintain claim files, correspondence, and detailed activity records in agency management systems.
• Monitor claims through satisfactory conclusion and participate in carrier claim reviews with clients.
• Identify service, coverage, and safety concerns and communicate them to account managers, producers, and Loss Control.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of Property & Casualty claims experience with a broker, insurance carrier, or third-party administrator.
• Knowledge of Property & Casualty coverage forms, claims processes, and industry practices.
• Valid P&C Brokers License.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and interact effectively with clients and other stakeholders.
