Probe Test Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Optimize probe card test programs and methodologies to improve product performance, test efficiency, throughput, quality, and repeatability.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, calibrate, and support production test hardware, fixtures, and probe card test systems.
• Perform root cause analysis for hardware failures, equipment issues, test escapes, yield degradation, and manufacturing challenges.
• Analyze electrical test data, process metrics, and equipment logs to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Support new product introductions by developing and validating test processes and qualification plans.
• Create engineering documentation and drive improvements in equipment uptime, setup time, yield, and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, plus at least two years of related experience; an advanced degree without experience or equivalent work experience may also qualify.
• Experience with semiconductor test operations, probe card manufacturing, wafer probing, electronics testing, or advanced manufacturing.
• Knowledge of semiconductor test equipment, troubleshooting, failure analysis, electrical measurements, and technical documentation.
• Experience with statistical analysis, yield and process capability evaluation, SPC, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Experience with ATE, wafer test probers, semiconductor metrology systems, and probe card test and characterization equipment.
• Technical proficiency with Onto PRVX4 and ProbeWorx300 Probe Card Analyzer, plus data analysis tools such as Excel, JMP, Minitab, Python, or similar applications.
