Test Operator, ATE (Semiconductor Testing)

Location: Santa Clara, California, USA; local candidates encouraged because relocation assistance is not offered.

Salary: USD 22–26 per hour, plus an additional 15% night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Operate semiconductor automated test equipment and perform manual tests on parts and components.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely operational documents and quantity reports.
• Meet test priorities, production objectives, and on-time delivery goals.
• Work with team members to achieve testing objectives and support customer needs.
• Identify and resolve routine testing issues quickly.

Requirements

• At least one year of IC or ATE testing experience in electronic manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience operating semiconductor test equipment.
• Good Excel, calculation, troubleshooting, communication, and writing skills.
• Ability to calculate test yield, work with customers, and support customer satisfaction.
• Ability to work the night-shift schedule: 11:30 p.m.–12 p.m., alternating between three 12-hour days and four 12-hour days.
• Ability to remain stationary for extended periods, operate computers and lab equipment, handle small fragile devices, wear required PPE, and move items up to 25 pounds.
