Senior Technical Product Manager - Payments

Location: Remote; quarterly domestic travel to headquarters, conferences, and client engagements is required.

Salary: $154,492.00–$247,187.20 per year, with possible commission or performance bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the development of payment technologies and a new transaction-processing platform.
• Create features, epics, technical user stories, product specifications, designs, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with leadership to shape the product roadmap and align it with business strategy.
• Manage the product backlog and iterative feature, epic, and product lifecycles.
• Integrate third-party services and SaaS vendors with the platform.
• Lead cross-functional delivery, market research, customer discovery, commercialization, and product releases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
• At least six years of experience delivering core banking, ACH, loan payment, debt repayment, or card processing features.
• At least six years of experience delivering technical SDK or API features for financial institutions or credit unions, delivering UI and white-label features, or managing B2B SaaS products.
• Broad knowledge of payment technologies and experience with scalable, performant, highly available API-based platforms, preferably in core banking.
• Expertise in requirements definition, data-informed product decisions, user journeys, sequence diagrams, and procedural flows.
• Ability to travel domestically on a quarterly basis and demonstrate strong communication, judgment, teamwork, and stakeholder-management skills.
