Purchaser (Supply Chain)

TOMRA develops collection and sorting technologies for resource recovery, food, recycling, and mining industries. The Xiamen subsidiary serves as the Greater China headquarters and operates an R&D, production, and sales center for sorting equipment.

What you will do

• Handle purchase orders and release orders to suppliers using ERP, balancing cost efficiency, minimum order quantities, delivery dates, and inventory requirements.
• Share forecasts with suppliers and monitor key parts and long-lead-time materials.
• Lead supplier delivery performance improvement and support broader supplier performance optimization across commercial, cooperation, and quality areas.
• Participate in supplier approval, annual supplier visits and audits, and supplier appraisal processes.
• Coordinate with PMC, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure timely material delivery, goods receiving, invoicing, and payments.
• Complete departmental tasks and provide backup for other team members when necessary.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business administration, finance, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in purchasing or planning.
• Proactive, diligent, detail-oriented, and able to communicate and collaborate effectively.
• Basic English ability is required.
