What you will do

• Analyze material markets and conduct supplier qualification and cost assessments.
• Source, contact, and conduct site visits for new suppliers to maintain a robust database.
• Monitor supplier performance and generate management reports for the global team.
• Manage accounts payable for purchased commodities and facilitate technical meetings between Engineering and suppliers.
• Perform spending analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and analyze price trends (PPV).
• Ensure adherence to information security management systems and protect corporate assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business.
• At least 5 years of purchasing experience within a manufacturing background (rubber, plastic, metalworking, machining, fabricating, and/or assemblies).
• Experience in automotive, heavy truck, or off-highway industries.
• Proficiency with ERP tools and the ability to generate detailed reports.
• Familiarity with IATF16949 requirements.
• Strong administrative skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Aftermarket suppliers.
• Purchasing certification or an advanced degree.
