Electronic Technician I (2:00pm to 10:30pm) Viper Final

What you will do

• Assemble junction boxes, electronic controls, and other assemblies using mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Install, test, inspect, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies for production and aftermarket support.
• Review wiring diagrams and interconnect drawings, including ladder logic, schematics, and Gerber files.
• Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure correct installation and testing.
• Document production and quality activities and inspect work before handing it to the next operation.
• Assist with training employees on basic to moderately complex electronic assembly and testing tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of experience and skill development.
• Ability to safely use small hand and power tools, multimeters, and power supplies.
• Working knowledge of wiring diagrams, interconnect drawings, ladder logic, schematics, and Gerber files.
• Ability to troubleshoot wiring and discrete circuits containing relays, diodes, transistors, capacitors, resistors, and DC battery chargers.
• Basic computer skills, attention to detail, independence, and ability to follow written procedures.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English. The role involves continuous standing and walking, frequent lifting and tool use, and lifting up to 75 pounds occasionally with assistance.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electronics, or a related discipline.
• One to two years of experience as an electronics technician.
• Military experience or equivalent electronics-related training.
