Vice President and Corporate Controller

What you will do

• Lead global accounting and controllership activities, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Oversee consolidations across multiple legal entities and jurisdictions while maintaining U.S. GAAP policies and financial disclosure integrity.
• Establish internal controls, financial governance, risk assessments, and remediation processes.
• Manage external audit relationships, annual audit activities, regulatory compliance, and audit finding remediation.
• Modernize accounting through automation, standardization, ERP enhancements, and close-to-report improvements.
• Support acquisition due diligence, purchase accounting, integration roadmaps, talent development, and succession planning.

Requirements

• 15+ years of progressive accounting and finance leadership experience.
• Experience in a public company, private equity-backed organization, or large privately held company supporting businesses with $1B+ in revenue.
• Deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, consolidations, technical accounting, large-scale audits, and external audit management.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, industrial products, or engineered solutions environments.
• Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing accounting teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and CPA certification required.

Nice to have

• Private equity-backed company experience and acquisition execution and integration experience.
• ERP implementation, finance transformation, shared services, or global accounting leadership experience.
• Exposure to international operations and multi-currency consolidations.
• MBA or master’s degree.
