What you will do

• Lead corporate accounting operations, including the General Ledger, reconciliations, accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, intercompany accounting, and financial close.
• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, ensuring accurate, timely, well-supported, and controlled financial results.
• Maintain scalable internal controls and partner with Technical Accounting, Revenue, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Legal, IT, auditors, and other stakeholders.
• Develop and execute a transformation roadmap covering finance systems, data quality, workflow automation, process redesign, and close acceleration.
• Lead responsible AI adoption in Accounting through use-case implementation, training, governance, and human oversight.
• Coach and develop a high-performing accounting team while building future leaders and a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership of corporate or General Ledger accounting in a public company or similarly complex environment.
• 4+ years of people leadership experience; experience managing managers is preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial close processes, internal controls, and accounting operations.
• Experience with SaaS, software, technology, or data businesses, plus finance systems such as ERP, close management, reconciliation, or workflow platforms.
• Strong understanding of AI and automation, project management, change leadership, and executive communication.
