Construction Manager - Water

Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United States; full-time on-site role

Salary: $124,726.29–$142,544.33 per year

What you will do

• Conduct daily on-site observations to verify construction progress and compliance with contract documents.
• Review construction schedules, sequencing proposals, plans, specifications, and project activities.
• Participate in meetings with owners, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to resolve construction issues.
• Review contractor payment applications, calculate progress payments, and recommend approval or rejection.
• Coordinate materials testing and observe field tests of equipment, structures, and piping.
• Maintain field records, daily diaries, working drawings, and documentation of RFIs, field changes, change orders, deficiencies, and non-conformance issues.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in water/wastewater facility construction or construction inspection.
• Broad expertise in construction concepts, methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria.
• Ability to independently assess significant and unique project issues and determine methods for completing special assignments.
• Ability to analyze schedules, prioritize critical work, and adapt to sudden changes in schedules or tasks.
• Ability to provide consultation to management and occasionally supervise or direct other personnel.
