What you will do

• Maintain and review daily operating logs for the central plant, including chillers, cooling towers, pumps, fan units, utility meters, and related complaints.
• Respond to building-system and tenant service requests, prioritize work orders, and minimize downtime.
• Conduct inspections, alarm testing, and preventive maintenance activities across building equipment.
• Support annual budgeting and RFP processes, including scopes of work, vendor selection, bid analysis, and recommendations.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors and vendors with property managers and client representatives, evaluating completed work.
• Maintain relationships and resolve property-related issues with property managers, owners, agents, vendors, and department leaders.

Requirements

• At least four years of experience in building or property maintenance or engineering.
• Strong knowledge of large-building HVAC systems, central plants and chillers, electrical systems, plumbing, energy management systems, and mechanical equipment.
• Central plant and chiller experience and a Universal HVAC Certification.
• Knowledge and training in building operations standards, including NFPA 70E, OSHA 10, LEED, and IAQ.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and diagrams; proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Must be currently authorized to work full-time in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available. A valid driver’s license and availability for after-hours and weekend emergency response are required.
