Focus on responding to abnormal conditions, preventing customer-impacting outages, coordinating power upgrades, analyzing facility efficiency, and documenting incidents and procedures.
Location: Hillsboro, Oregon, United States. On-site role with no travel or less than 5% travel; work hours may vary, including weekends, holidays, late nights, and on-call support.

What you will do
- Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, building monitoring, control, and fire life safety systems.
- Maintain chilled-water, HVAC, CRAC/CRAH, humidification, fan wall, chiller, UPS, PDU, RPP, switchgear, and critical power distribution systems.
- Respond to abnormal conditions and incidents, escalate issues, prepare follow-up reports, and conduct regular facility and security tours.
- Execute preventive and predictive maintenance, manage discrepancies in the CMMS and related databases, and coordinate issue resolution.
- Analyze operating trends, recommend efficiency improvements, coordinate power installations and upgrades, and help prevent unplanned customer-impacting outages.
- Develop and maintain procedures for preventive and corrective maintenance and provide day-to-day customer support.
Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a comprehensive background screening.
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3–5 years of experience in data center or other mission-critical operations.
- Strong understanding of data center electrical and mechanical systems, including UPS, transformers, PDUs, RPPs, chillers, CRAH, CRAC, STS, ATS, and pre-action systems.
- Strong knowledge of NFPA 70E, NFPA 72, NFPA 25, and fire life safety compliance standards.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, database software, operational trending and analysis, and PC-based site monitoring systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment, work outside normal business hours, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Nice to have
- United States Navy Nuclear Engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
