Digital Press Operator 2nd Shift

Location: West Bend, Wisconsin, USA. Full-time onsite role on the second shift, Monday–Thursday from 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM.

Salary: $21.00–$26.26 per hour, plus a $1.00 per hour second-shift differential.

What you will do

• Review job instructions and prepare jobs for digital press production.
• Set up, program, and release jobs from the print queue while monitoring output quality and image correctness.
• Use bindery equipment, including cutters, tabletop folders, creasers, and shrink tunnels, to complete printed jobs.
• Package completed jobs and prepare them for shipping.
• Review client electronic files, identify missing or problematic components, and coordinate resolutions with customer service and production personnel.
• Prepare color proofs for customer review when required.

Requirements

• Good understanding of PDF, TIFF, and EPS file formats across Mac and PC operating systems.
• Basic color management skills and experience working with different digital formats.
• Ability to output digital files to various output devices and learn new graphics software.
• Mechanical skills with small hand tools for minor repairs, maintenance, and equipment setup.
• Ability to work the second shift Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM, in West Bend, Wisconsin.
