Senior Superintendent - Commercial/High-Rise

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 annual salary

What you will do

• Supervise commercial and high-rise construction projects through successful completion.
• Recruit, organize, train, direct, and coordinate field construction teams and subcontractor work.
• Prepare and maintain CPM schedules, coordinate planning and materials, and support cost control.
• Enforce safety procedures, participate in safety training, and verify subcontractor insurance certificates.
• Set quality standards, review drawings and specifications, and coordinate subcontractor meetings.
• Manage testing, punchlists, turnover, final close-out, reporting, and owner acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or equivalent experience.
• At least 8 years of experience as a Superintendent with extensive supervisory-level field construction experience.
• Current STS Certification, or the ability to obtain it within six months of hire and maintain active certification.
• Knowledge of all construction trades, with prior experience as a foreman, journeyman, or project engineer.
• Knowledge of OSHA laws, job scheduling, planning, expediting, and cost control.
• Strong problem-solving ability and sense of urgency; ability to travel and supervise multiple projects across a large geographic area.
