Senior Drywall Estimator

What you will do

• Plan and manage estimating activities for assigned construction projects.
• Review project plans, specifications, requirements, and bid documents.
• Prepare quantity takeoffs, conceptual estimates, materials pricing, and labor and equipment cost calculations.
• Coordinate subcontractor solicitations, job walks, bid lists, drawings, and competitive trade bids.
• Compile and submit bids, maintain bidding schedules, and complete post-bid buyouts when applicable.
• Support jobsite staff after bid award, maintain supplier and subcontractor relationships, and supervise or train estimating staff when applicable.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of estimating experience.
• Degree in engineering, construction management, or architecture, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and understand construction specifications and drawings.
• Ability to make accurate judgments and calculations.
• Working knowledge of construction costs and principles.
• Drafting and computer skills, with experience in quantity takeoffs and purchasing accounting.
