Category Manager, NA - Indirect Procurement

What you will do

• Develop and execute strategic sourcing initiatives for assigned indirect goods and services categories.
• Lead RFP and RFI development, supplier selection, competitive bidding, and contract negotiations.
• Identify and deliver cost savings across North American and divisional indirect procurement projects.
• Coordinate regional and multi-site procurement activities to consolidate spend and increase purchasing leverage.
• Analyze suppliers, markets, industry trends, and competitive opportunities to improve quality, delivery, productivity, and cost.
• Implement procurement agreements and support supply assurance, service, and innovation objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or Engineering; an MBA is preferred.
• At least 5 years of experience in indirect procurement.
• Strong negotiation, strategic thinking, commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse cross-functional teams.
• In-depth knowledge of indirect procurement best practices and industry trends.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, Ariba, or function-specific procurement software.
