Client Service & Reporting Advisor (Asset Management)

Location: Tokyo, Japan; applicants must already have the right to work in Japan without current or future sponsorship

hirify.global operates an asset management business covering financial instruments and related activities.

What you will do

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc client reports for financial instruments, pension funds, sub-advisory mandates, and proprietary investment trusts.
• Collect, organize, and manage reporting data while coordinating with overseas offices and other stakeholders.
• Produce FIEA-related regulatory compliance reports, including Basel-related reports, and risk asset reports.
• Create performance and risk analysis reports for fixed income funds using BlackRock Aladdin.
• Respond to client inquiries and serve as a primary point of contact for client relationship management.
• Draft original investment commentary and, at VP level, supervise and develop team members.

Requirements

• Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies, including fixed income, equities, and derivatives.
• Strong communication, teamwork, coordination, and proactive problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and provide backup support to colleagues.
• Proficiency with Excel VBA or equivalent business tools.
• Approximately five or more years of relevant experience at an asset management company is preferred.
• Intermediate or above English proficiency in reading and writing is preferred; speaking is a plus.

Nice to have

• Experience in client reporting, management, or developing a client reporting career within an asset management organization.
• Experience writing market or investment commentary for investment reports or marketing materials.
• Experience with Aladdin, T-Star GX, GX-BIS, T-Star TX, Bloomberg, or My State Street.
