What you will do

• Manage the Japan FICC/Equities franchise and analyze business performance with local leadership.
• Support historical analysis, forecasting, annual business planning, and strategic projects.
• Coordinate business continuity strategies and oversee implementation for the Japan franchise.
• Assess regulatory changes and work with leadership on the firm's response.
• Partner with legal, compliance, audit, and tax teams to resolve issues and implement policies, procedures, and controls.
• Identify operational inefficiencies, coordinate global priorities, and support new initiatives across the region.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including interaction with senior management and global stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with the ability to manipulate data.
• Strong understanding of financial markets businesses and products.
• Experience leading complex projects in a dynamic and competitive organization.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Proven ability to deliver accurate, high-quality work with meticulous attention to detail.

• Japanese language skills are preferred but not required.
