What you will do

• Own transaction reporting across Japan and other Asian jurisdictions with regional and global support.
• Partner with Business, Compliance, Legal, Engineering, and Operations to translate regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, regulators, exchanges, and industry groups.
• Support regulatory change, new business initiatives, system enhancements, issue remediation, and control improvements.
• Coach and develop team members while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 5 years of financial industry experience, ideally in regulatory reporting, operations, compliance, or related control functions.
• Experience with financial products, data, operating processes, regulatory requirements, or change initiatives.
• Advanced professional proficiency in Japanese and English.
• Experience managing and leading teams, with strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, judgment, ownership, and coaching skills.
• Ability to break down complex requirements and deliver clear, sustainable solutions.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with transaction reporting requirements or regulatory frameworks across Asia.
• Experience engaging with regulators, exchanges, or industry working groups.
• Experience delivering regulatory, operational, or technology change initiatives from requirements through implementation.
• Interest in trade flows, reporting logic, system architecture, data, automation, low-code, and emerging AI capabilities.
